Extricom Prepares Expansion With Series C

HERZLIA AND NEW YORK --
Extricom, a wireless LAN designer and manufacturer with headquarters in New York and an R&D center in Israel, announced the completion of a Series C round of funding from corporate and venture capital investors.
The investments totaled $12 million, led by Belden (NYSE:BDC) with whom the company has a technology partnership, and with participation from existing investors Magnum Communications Fund, Vertex Venture Capital and Motorola Ventures.
The company states that the new capital will fuel its global expansion and sales initiatives by strengthening the company's customer support and sales efforts via its network of resellers and partners.
